Dr. Douglas was born and raised on a dairy farm in Orange County, NY. After serving in Vietnam, he graduated from Washingtonville High School and later Cornell University with his DVM. His love of animals was instilled at a young age on the farm and has continued throughout my entire veterinary career. Douglas began his veterinary career as a large animal vet serving the farmers of Orange County. As the need presented, he started treating their house pets; as the market continued to grow, and opened the first Noah’s Ark Animal Hospital in Goshen, NY, which later developed into Hamptonburgh Animal Hospital in Campbell Hall, NY.
