After graduating from the University of Missouri, Dr. Ajay began practicing veterinary medicine in 2006. In 2012, he moved to Orange County, NY, after joining Hamptonburgh Animal Hospital. He prides himself on making every effort to ensure that clients are well-informed and able to make the best decision for their pets. There is no greater satisfaction for him than seeing a sick pet feeling better and back to enjoying life with its family. In his free time, he love to spoil his pets. Ajay has one handsome but “thick” cat and one very silly, playful pup. Ajay's favorite time of day is sitting on the couch unwinding with his 4-legged family. His children often complain that he is much a more lenient pet dad than a human dad.

Veterinarian
Dr. Thomas Rogers is a 2001 graduate of the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine with special interests in internal and preventive medicine. Dedicated to providing thoughtful, high-quality care at Hamptonburgh Animal Hospital, he enjoys spending his free time with his wife—whom he met while in the Peace Corps—their three children, and their pets. He is also an avid fan of Broadway, Americana music, and classic comedies.
Dr. Sarah Halpern
Veterinarian
Dr. Sarah Halpern earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Kansas State University and practiced in Maryland for seven years before returning to her New York roots. She holds special clinical interests in internal medicine, dentistry, animal behavior, and feline medicine. Dedicated to building strong relationships with her patients and their families, she spends her free time with her husband, daughter, and four pets, and enjoys reading, photography, and playing volleyball.

Born and raised on a dairy farm in Orange County, NY, this veterinarian served in Vietnam before earning his DVM from Cornell and went on to open Noah's Ark Animal Hospital, which later became Hamptonburgh Animal Hospital, to serve both large and small animals.
